HOSTECH 2026: dates, opening hours and the correct fairground

Send the full TUYAP venue name rather than asking for "the Istanbul exhibition centre". TUYAP is on the city's western side in the Buyukcekmece/Beylikduzu area. It is a different destination from Istanbul Expo Center in Yesilkoy, where UNICERA 2026 is scheduled earlier in November. A calendar with several trade fairs needs a separate destination and pickup plan for each one.

Confirm your visitor registration through the official ticket page. That page also sets out current visitor eligibility, including its restriction on admission for under-16s. Admission rules, tickets and exhibitor access belong to the organiser; a car booking does not provide entry, a VIP pass or priority access. Staying near TUYAP or in central Istanbul?

Choose accommodation around the complete business programme. A hotel near the fair can reduce the amount of cross-city travel you need to plan during consecutive exhibition days. A central hotel may fit a programme with city meetings and dinners, but the daily journey to TUYAP still needs to be accounted for.

Give the hotel name, street address and vehicle entrance, especially when your company has booked several properties. We can review a private hotel transfer for each confirmed movement. This is transport planning rather than a hotel endorsement, and no hotel partnership or guaranteed journey time is implied.

Make one movement plan for the purchasing team

A useful starting point is a shared list of appointments with one transport coordinator. Identify which colleagues travel together, who arrives on a later flight, and whether everyone leaves the fair at the same time. Two separate collections should be quoted as separate work rather than treated as one team transfer.

Distinguish a meeting on an exhibitor's stand from an off-site appointment. "Meet our supplier after lunch" does not tell the chauffeur whether the party is staying inside the fair or driving to a showroom elsewhere. For an outside visit, provide the precise address, meeting deadline, likely duration and onward destination. Review how a late-running appointment would affect the next collection.

Use the current exhibitor and programme information to identify the appointments you need; confirm stand numbers and demonstration times against the latest programme before agreeing your appointments.

Arrange the airport journey separately from the exhibition day

For an Istanbul Airport (IST) transfer, supply the flight number, local arrival date, travellers and luggage, followed by the first destination. For a Sabiha Gokcen (SAW) transfer, make the airport code explicit: that journey to the western-side fairground requires cross-city planning.

If the first appointment is soon after arrival, consider the whole interval: arrival procedures, baggage, the confirmed meeting arrangement, the road journey and entry to the fair. A road estimate alone cannot tell you whether a flight-to-meeting connection is practical. Decide in advance whether you will check in at the hotel or travel directly to TUYAP, and confirm how any suitcases will be handled while you visit.

Choose the right chauffeur booking for each day

A direct transfer fits a single confirmed movement, such as the hotel to the fair. Outward and return transfers can fit a fixed visit with a separate collection time. Hourly or daily chauffeur service can fit a programme with outside meetings, changes of destination and waiting between stops.

For a chauffeur booked by time, agree the start and finish, the route, waiting arrangements and overtime conditions. Ask whether the vehicle remains allocated between journeys. Neither "daily driver" nor "VIP" automatically means unlimited hours, unrestricted distance or every additional stop included.

Public transport may also suit a simple visit. The organiser's transportation page explains Metrobus and other connections to TUYAP. Compare those options using the current operator information, your hotel's location, walking needs and the amount you are carrying. We do not claim that a private car always avoids congestion or is always faster.

Agree on collection and plan the final day carefully

Set an accessible collection point, keep the reservation contact available and allow time to walk out of the halls. Venue access and vehicle stopping arrangements should be confirmed for the actual day; the chauffeur cannot be assumed to wait at any requested entrance.

HOSTECH's Saturday closing is published as 18:00, earlier than the preceding fair days. If you depart Istanbul on 14 November, start with the airline's required airport arrival time and work backwards. Include the time to finish the last meeting, collect luggage, leave the venue and make the road journey. A fair closing time is not a safe airport-transfer pickup time for every flight.

Passengers, luggage and exhibition equipment

For a small buying team, compare a premium sedan with a chauffeured Mercedes V-Class according to the real passenger and luggage list. Seat numbers alone do not establish whether suitcases, laptop bags, catalogues and sample cases fit together. Share unusually sized items before the vehicle is confirmed.

Commercial ovens, refrigeration units, laundry machinery and stand materials are not ordinary passenger luggage. Arrange specialist freight and exhibitor handling where needed, and check the organiser's access process. A passenger chauffeur booking does not include stand delivery, loading equipment, customs handling or permission to enter a service area.
